After a successful climb of Kilimanjaro, you'll head directly to Kambi ya Tembo Tented Camp, nestled in the wilderness of West Kilimanjaro. This tented camp is located within the Enduimet Wildlife Management Area, home to the unique long-necked gazelle known as the Gerenuk. Your adventure will include a visit to Tarangire National Park, famous for its incredible herds of elephants. 1StartUpon arrival, you will be picked up from Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred to Arusha Planet lodge or Kerama Silent lodge, a journey of approximately 50 minutes. These lodge feature comfortable beds, a beautiful garden, a swimming pool, and excellent meals. You will receive a pre-Kilimanjaro briefing, during which your hiking gear and other logistics will be reviewed.
2In the morning, our team will pick you up at the lodge and transfer you to the Machame Park gate, which is 2 hours away. Upon arrival and after registration, youโll begin your trek through the dense rainforest to the Machame Hut campsite. Along the way, you may encounter black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and a variety of beautiful birds. The breathtaking scenery and lush, expansive rainforest make this route truly unique. The hike takes approximately 5 to 6 hours.
3In the morning, after enjoying breakfast and packing a picnic lunch, you will continue your trek to the Shira Cave campsite. The day is clear as you walk through the heather and moorland zone. Todayโs trail is somewhat steep, offering excellent views of the two peaks, Shira and Kibo. You will also have a perfect view of Mount Meru in Arusha. The hike takes approximately 4 hours
4In the morning, after breakfast and packing a picnic lunch, you will continue your trek along the east side, facing Kibo Peak. The weather is cool as you cross into the alpine desert. Enjoy your picnic lunch at Lava Tower, which is at an elevation of 4,600 meters. Afterward, you will descend to Baranco Camp. The hike today takes approximately 6 to 7 hours.
5In the morning, after breakfast, we will trek up the steep Baranco Wall to Karanga camp. This impressive journey features visitors and porters navigating the challenging terrain, with some climbing required. At the top, enjoy views of Kibo Peak and its stunning glacier. The trek to Karanga Camp takes about 3 to 4 hours, where you'll enjoy a hot lunch and have time to relax. Later, you'll embark on a one-hour acclimatization walk before returning for dinner and an overnight stay at Karanga Camp, located at 3,995 meters
6Morning after breakfast with picnic lunch continue walking to Barafu camp through alpine desert. The walk to barafu camp takes about 2-3hrs.
7Summit!At midnight, after tea and cookies, we will start our challenging ascent to the summit. The trek to Uhuru Peak, the highest point at 5,895 meters, takes about 6 to 7 hours. You'll have 20 minutes for photos before descending to Barafu Camp, which takes around 3 hours. After a 1-hour break and breakfast at Barafu, we'll continue our descent to Mweka Camp, taking about 3 to 4 hours.
8In the morning, after breakfast, we will descend to the Mweka Park Gate through the rainforest, which takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. Upon arrival at the Mweka Park Gate, we will check out and transfer to West Kilimanjaro at Enduimet Wildlife Management Area for 2-3 hours. Experience the luxury of a warm shower in the wilderness while enjoying stunning views of giraffes in their natural habitat.
9In the morning, after enjoying breakfast with a packed lunch, you will embark on a thrilling game drive in the Enduimet Wildlife Management Area. Here, you may encounter the rare gerenuk, a long-necked gazelle that is not found in Tarangire, Ngorongoro, or Serengeti. Watch as wildebeest move freely from Amboseli National Park in Kenya, and observe magnificent elephants, graceful giraffes, zebras, and much more. Your game drive will take you along the Tanzania-Kenya border, where on one side lies Amboseli National Park and on the other, the Enduimet Wildlife Management Area. This area permits off-road driving and walking safaris, allowing you to leave the vehicle and approach wildlife up close on foot. In the evening, you will drive to Arusha for an overnight stay, which takes about 2 hours. You will spend the night at Pazuri Inn.
10In the morning, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey of approximately 2 hours. Upon your arrival at the park, you'll have the chance for your game drive, where you can view a variety of wildlife. Tarangire is known as an elephant paradise, where you can see large herds of elephants unlike any other. Additionally, you may spot buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, and hundreds of bird species. In the evening, you will check in at Tarangire Osupuko lodge
11In the morning, enjoy a walking safari organized by the lodge, lasting about 1 hour. After the safari, return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast accompanied by packed lunches, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a tour, which takes about 2 hours. During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including Black Rhinos, lions, hyenas, wildebeests, and numerous bird species such as beautiful flamingos, ostriches, kori bustards, secretary birds, and vultures. In the evening you will ascend the crater and overnight at Ngorongoro Ang'ata camp for overnight stay
12In the morning, after breakfast, you'll drive to Serengeti for approximately 2-3 hours. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a game drive to observe a variety of wildlife. Expect to see big cats along with thousands of other wild animals. In the evening, you will check in at Serengeti House of Nature Camp.
13Dedicate a full day to a game drive in Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast populations of wildlife, including thousands of animals and iconic big cats such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. In the afternoon, you will return to the camp for a hot lunch. After lunch, you can choose to either continue your afternoon game drive or relax at the camp
14In the morning, after breakfast with a packed lunch, enjoy a morning game drive in the park, observing wildlife as you make your way to Arusha. After checking out of Serengeti National Park, you'll hit the road for a 5-6 hours drive to Arusha. Overnight at Pazuri Inn or Arusha Planet lodge
15FinishDepending on your flight schedule, our driver will pick you up from the lodge and transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport. This marks the end of our services, and we wish you a safe journey home. We look forward to welcoming you back to Tanzania in the future
