A great safari experience
We had the most wonderful experience on the safari. Chiba was excellent. He was friendly and attentive and a safari expert. It was a pleasant experience being with him. He taught us a lot about Tanzania, its history, its animals and its culture. During the trip we saw a wide variety of animals and birds. Absolutely fantastic experience
I count myself lucky to have been on such a romantic and fabulous camping safari with Snow Africa Adventures. I am happy that we took the camping package because it was the best way to get closer to nature and experience safari as it was in the pioneering days of safari exploration. The trip took us to Serengeti NP, Grumeti Reserve and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We had guide Haji with us and he is absolutely amazing! He knew the parks like the back of his hand and was well versed with all the animals and birds that we encountered. The safari adventure continued to the evening and nights at the campsites. Benedict helped Haji with the cooking and also in setting up the tents at the campsites. Spending the evening around the campfire with choicest cuts and other delicacies while downing cold beers was an awesome experience. Sleeping under the tent with animals roaming outside was exciting and scary at the same time. The trip was well planned that we did a circuit with great views and action from day to day. I had the chance of seeing a leopard in the wild for the first time. We saw a wide array of different animals and got some lucky close encounters with a huge elephant bull, cheetah on our safari vehicle and lions on the road in Ngorongoro Crater. Trekking Kilimanjaro with an amazing crew

Kilimanjaro Dreams Came True
Some experiences are only possible once in a lifetime, we grasped at that opportunity in February and absolutely happy with our choice to go with Snow Africa Adventures who are a boutique local operator who specialize in personalized service for their guests. I was very impressed by everyone at Snow Africa Adventures. They all played a role in creating the wonderful memorable experience on the Rongai route. I took notice of the deliberate engagement of experienced guides to lead the climbing party. Ben Muro our steward has more than fifteen years experience of guiding climbers on Kilimanjaro. Julius his partner was equally capable and between them we were in good hands. I enjoyed the trek very much, the whole experience is something much more getting to the summit. I had many special moments along the trail with my friends. I highly appreciate the efforts put in by the team to keep us safe, good health and properly nourished in difficult terrain. I will take the most beautiful sunrises back with me. Every sunrise would bring in a great day of tough trekking but the joys of watching the distance down below where we started. Best Family Holiday In Africa
If you are looking forward to traveling to Tanzania on safari then this is the right place. Florin created a bespoke itinerary with a mix of game and cultural exchange just for us. He helped us get great accommodation in the top lodges in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. From the moment we landed in Tanzania to our flight out, we were royalty. Godfrey our safari guide was phenomenal. He is so enthusiastic about safari and loved sharing his vast knowledge from years of guiding guests with us. We could not get enough of him, particularly our inquisitive boys dying to learn everything about Tanzania! We saw lots of animals, beautiful landscapes and also got to see the local Maasai tribe. I have been on two other safaris to Namibia and Zambia and Tanzania stood out; more variety, huge numbers and the overall service level was better. The best vacation experience
We had a lovely safari in Tanzania with our safari driver/guide Chiba. The service was excellent, Florent had done a great job planning this trip as it was perfect. The 4x4 was in excellent condition and allowed us to cover all corners without any problems. Chiba could find wildlife at every turn of the trip, we loved seeing the different species of wildlife in the three parks we visited; Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The choice of hotels and lodges was excellent. Planet Lodge in Arusha, Four Seasons at Serengeti and Maramboi in Tarangire, Entamanu in Ngorongoro were all excellent. To the TOP!
Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro is a great accomplishment- yes it’s physical but it’s so much more than that. Snow Leopard provided expert guides and staff for our group of 5 women. Our local crew of 25 men were extremely professional, helpful and joyful! Our three guides: Simba, Paul and Dickson took such good care of us. Through the rain (everyday), the ever changing terrain and the camping… they provided the support and positive energy we needed to get To The TOP. Dickson Lyimo was a standout for me personally. He was not only calm, cool and collected at all times from his years of experience, he offered a sense of safety at all times. I knew with his guidance I could continue no matter what challenges arose. He also carried my pack on summit day and packed/ organized it in a way I couldn’t stop “wowing” about. Great Kilimanjaro Experience with Big and Small Ben
It took longer than I expected to do this review because I wanted to do justice to the wonderful experience that my wife and I had in Tanzania. Our host Florent is a rare gem, he had taken the time to understand what we wanted, then advised us to do the Lemosho trail, which is quite sheltered from the elements, less traffic and the best chances of success because of an additional day for better acclimatization. He also helped us with lots of material on the requirements, packing list and advice on how to best prepare for the trek. He also did a good job in preparing the team and logistics for our trek, as we found everything ready. We had Big and Small Ben as our guides, assisted by seven porters and Chef Renatus to support our Kilimanjaro expedition. They were all wonderful and friendly and caring. They cared about our welfare; we had daily health checks in the morning and before bed, daily briefing, and great mealtimes. I enjoyed sitting in the mess tent with our guides during the mealtimes. Going with a mobile toilet was a very good decision. It gets very cold high up there, luckily we had our thermal jackets and pants. The tents also kept us warm and dry at night. The journey to the summit was truly special, enjoying the beautiful views, slowly putting one leg Infront of the other (pole pole) as Big Ben would say. I loved listening to the Bens', they had interesting stories about Tanzania, culture and a lot of information about Kilimanjaro. I even got to learn a little Swahili from them. I was happy with the overall experience. I believe that we could not have made it to the summit without the support we had from the Snow Africa Team. The Experience of Excellence
Florent and his team at Snow Africa Adventures have given us the opportunity to retrace the iconic safari adventure to Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater that we took with them on our honeymoon back in 2020. Florent was his usual brilliant in planning the trip and even managed to get Colin our old guide. We had come to love and appreciate his company and excellent guiding skills. We did the same parks with the same guide but it still felt different, and we enjoyed much more. This time we opted for high end luxury properties and the experience was much better than the basic camps. We saw all the big five, many other different animals and even managed to see lions mating, a leopard and the wildebeest calving in Ndutu. I truly appreciate the efforts that the team put in arranging for the trip because there were no nasty surprises. All the permits paid for in advance and the lodges expecting us. Amazing and Stress free tour of Kilimanjaro and Safari
I recently summit the Kilimanjaro with Snow Africa Adventures. The whole experience was amazing because of the whole team. I’m very thankful to the entire team of Snow Africa Adventure to help my dream come true. I enjoyed working with Florent who helped arranged the whole trip and answered all the questions promptly. Much thanks to our guide Paul who was very patient, knowledgeable and helpful at every step. Our Chef Joshua cooked amazing vegetarian meals everyday. I’m very thankful to all the porters, chef, and guide Paul and Washington for making our trip so memorable, safe, and fun. I would definitely recommend going with this company if you want to climb Kilimanjaro successfully and stress free.
